Requirements to Unlock: Complete the The Road to Smithing quest from Masterly Dwarf in Shinjuku Babel.
- Gains Expertise through use of Swordsmith and Textbook (Blades).
This Expertise affects Swordsmith Chain Expertise by 80%.
This Expertise affects Spiritual Mixing.

- Find the recipe with the fewest ingredients, gather a lot of materials and craft. Don't use the same recipe over and over at a certain Class/Rank since it will raise very little to notice.
