How to Initiate

After completing Act 3: Curse of the Gods, walk to the fountain in Shinjuku Babel.

Summary

Opening

• Start this quest by approaching the Fountain in Shinjuku Babel and a cutscene will show.
  • During the cut-scene, Omoikane appears and will cast a curse on the player which alters Luck by -50 and Intelligence by +10.
• Approach Grandma in Babel who can be found around the back of the Fountain. You will need to pay 1,000 macca.

Your Task

Gather information about Sukunahikona and the Seven Branched Sword.

Talk to:-

• Shinjuku Babel
  • Izo [19 X: 18 Y]
  • DB Kina [24 X: 23 Y]
  • Nora [22 X: 19 Y].
• Shinjuku Residential Area
  • Kiara (Behind the black pillar)
  • Chizuru (Behind the Elevator),
  • DB Miruwa (To the right of the elevator, by the light pole),
  • DB Gon (Back right corner, across from Kiara)
  • Lorie (To the left of the elevator, in a white dress which somewhat resemble Elf).
• Souhonzan
  • DB Sakamoto [17 X: 25 Y] (You can find him when you enter Souhonzan)
  • Grandpa in Souhonzan [24 X: 22 Y] (Near the campfire area).

Grandpa in Souhonzan will allow you to purchase the Seven Branched Sword but it is a replica. It costs 20,000 Macca or if you refuse the first price, 10,000 macca.
It is non-tradeable and not compulsory to buy it. It can only be bought during this Act.

• Talk to DB Kureha [25 X: 21 Y]. You must have 2 spaces free in your inventory. A cut-scene will be shown if you successfully done all the above. Otherwise it will only show a dialogue.

Reward

• 100,000 XP
• 80,000 Macca.

Note

• The curse continues onto Act 5.
  • If your curse persist after Act 5, please send a bug report ticket to the Game Masters by using the Contact Us.
• The NPC names in bold above must be questioned on both the subjects of Sukunahikona and the Seven Branched Sword.
• Currently , there might be a glitch in the cut-scene for some players. Press "ESC" button to cancel the first part of the cut-scene to continue.
• Prepare (21,000 / 11,000 / 1,000) macca to spend on this Act.
